The next Club Walk is set for Sunday 28th April and will be in East Mersea.

Club members and their guests who are joining us please assemble at “The Dog & Pheasant” public house and restaurant car park, East Mersea at 10.00am. The plan is to start at 10.30 and will take approximately one and a half hours. Following the walk I have reserved 30 places for lunch with mine hosts, Alison and Maria at the Dog & Pheasant.  The lunch menu is a choice of Sunday roast plus a vegetarian option. The cost is:- one course – £7.95, 2 courses – £9.95 & 3 courses – £11.95. If you are dining then please let me know your option (Roast or Vegetarian) no later then Monday 22nd April, you can place your actual orders on the day.

Now that the snow seems to be a distant memory we have rescheduled the coffee morning, that was cancelled last month, for Saturday 16/02/13 from 10.30 until 12.30. Copies of the new Clubhouse plans will be available for members to look at and Club Directors and representatives of Hills Building Group will also be on hand to answer any relevant questions about the build and the new facilities.

The evening will take the usual format starting at 7 for 7.30pm with a break at about 8.30 for supper. As usual there will be tables of 8 with smaller numbers being added to form larger teams if they want to. There will be a cash prize for the winning team.

The supper will be the usual choice of Curry, Steak Pie or Vegetarian option, price £10/head. Please indicate your meal choices on your booking form.
