The next Club Quiz has been set for Friday 15th June at the Masonic Centre and back by popular demand is Quiz Master Piers Graham.

The evening will take the usual format starting at 7 for 7.30pm with a break at about 8.30 for supper. As usual there will be tables of 8 with smaller numbers being added to form larger teams if they want to.

The supper will be the usual choice of Curry, Steak Pie or Vegetarian option, price £10/head. Please indicate your meal choices on your booking form.

If you would like to take part then please download the booking form and return it with your cheque to the normal Club address.

Club Walk – Wivenhoe

The next Club Walk has been arranged for Sunday 27th May and is kindly being organised by Jane Taylor. Details as follows

Meet in the car park at the bottom of Wivenhoe High street at 10.30am. The walk will be about two hours long and it is mainly on the flat. There is a shorter walk along the river path and back for those who don’t wish to do the full distance.

Lunch is available for up to 20 people at the Bakehouse restaurant in Wivenhoe at 1.00 o’ clock, the menu is attached. The restauarnt have agreed to waive the booking fee on this occasion but do need firm bookings with menu choices in advance.

Please note that the restaurant is close to the car park but not right next door.

Annual General Meeting

The Club AGM will be held at 6.00pm Wednesday 6th June at the Masonic Centre.

There will be a curry supper to follow, price £10/head. If you would like to eat then please download the booking form and send it with your cheque to the normal Club address.

Dinner Dance Poster

We are now taking bookings for the Dinner and Dance at The Masonic Centre, St John’s Green on Friday 22nd June. The price is £30/head (You can see the menu by following the link Menu CGOC Dinner Dance Friday 22.06.12 )

If you wish to attend please download and complete the Booking Form from the following link ( Booking Form Dinner Dance 22.06.12 ) When completing please state clearly in capital letters the name of the individual that the menu is for. If you have a seating preference on the evening please print that clearly on the form. There will be some social tables for smaller parties to join with other members, these will be allocated by David Casey. Please note that once seating requests have been made and committed to there can be no changes made.
