Coronavirus Update 10/05/21

Dear Members,
If you don’t already know, from Monday 17th May an indoor service recommences at the Club.

What this means!

OPENING HOURS
Opening hours remain as current. It is our intention to start moving back to normal hours after 21/06.
Mon – Fri 11.00am until 2.00pm, Afternoons 5.00pm until 8.00pm
Saturday 10.00am until 1.00pm and 4.00pm until 6.00pm
Sunday 10.00am until 2.00pm

BAR AND RESTAURANT
The members’ lounge and restaurant will be open for drinks and meals. Rule of 6 applies inside the building and orders will be limited to table service. Facemasks must be worn at all times except when seated and everyone needs to sign in using the Track & Trace app or on the register provided.
The choice of meals available will be extended but please book before coming if possible.

SNOOKER
The snooker room will also reopen. Please note that there is a new booking system called Clubspark. Tennis and squash players should already have been sent instructions on how to use the system, snooker players should receive an email over the next few days (If you don’t please reply to this email)

SQUASH
The squash courts and changing rooms reopen and, for those of you interested, it is our intention to restart the Tuesday and Thursday evening Club Nights.

BRIDGE
Bridge will restart on Tuesdays and Fridays, players please contact the organisers of your respective groups for information on timings.

GENERAL
Please remember that facemasks must be worn at all times inside the Clubhouse unless seated.
Please sign in using Track & Trace or the register.
Card payments only. No cash.
Please be patient with the staff as we try and gear up accordingly.

Coronavirus Update 10/03/21 – Very important please read.

Dear Members,
Following the release of the Government end of lockdown roadmap, we have now formulated our own plans for the reopening of the Club. Please note that these dates may alter if Government advice changes.

The Following services will be available from:-

Monday 22nd March
Mon – Fri 11.00am until 13.00pm.

  • Takeaway service of teas, coffee and cake which can be consumed on site. In order to reduce waste please feel free to bring your own cup if you want to.
  • Members are able to use the grounds for socialising in groups of 2.

Monday 29th March
Mon – Fri 11.00am until 13.00pm.
Sat – Sun  10.00am until 13.00pm.

  • Takeaway service of teas, coffee and cake which can be consumed on the site.
  • Members are able to use the grounds for socialising in groups of 6.
  • The main car park gates will be reopened.
  • 2021 car parking permits will be available for collection.
  • Members will be able to access the building only for use of the toilet facilities (NB a facemask must be worn)
  • Tennis courts reopen for play. Please watch out for a separate email regarding a new booking system and other tennis related issues.

Monday 12th April
Mon – Fri 11.00am until 2.00pm, Afternoons 5.00pm until 8.00pm
Sat – Sun  10.00am until 13.00pm
Takeaway service of alcoholic drinks, teas, coffee and cake which can be consumed on the site.

A limited dining menu will be reintroduced.

Members are able to use the grounds for socialising in groups of up to 6 people or 2 households.

Monday 17th May
Mon – Fri 11.00am until 2.00pm, Afternoons 5.00pm until 8.00pm
Sat – Sun  10.00am until 13.00pm

  • Indoor service resumes with a near normal food and drink offering.
  • Mixing allowed for up to 6 people or 2 households.
  • Rule of 6 lifted for outdoors with gatherings of up to 30 people allowed.

Sunday 23rd May We will have a Sunday lunch service limited to 30 people, please book in advance, sorry no walk-ins.

Monday 21st June
All legal limits on social distancing to end.
It is the Club’s intention to return opening hours and service to normal as soon as possible following this date.

Friday 25th June
All things being well it is our intention to hold the annual Cocktail Party. This date will be firmed up as soon as possible and invites sent out closer to the date.


Snooker
It is anticipated that snooker can recommence from Monday 17th May.

Bridge
It is anticipated that bridge will be allowed from Monday 17th May

Squash
Sport England have said that an announcement regarding squash is expected on or shortly after 22nd March

Clubhouse
The Clubhouse will only be staffed at the times indicated above. During these times it will be possible to contact the Club on the main 01206 545444 number. Outside of these times please call 07493 851 632, if there is no reply please leave a message and someone will call you back.

We are all looking forward to welcoming you back to the Club.

NOTE
1. IN ORDER TO USE THE LOOS, MEMBERS STILL NEED A KEY FOB TO GAIN ENTRY TO THE BUILDING, DON’T FORGET TO BRING YOURS WITH YOU! (If your fob is not working then please leave it in an envelope at the bar with your details and it will be reprogrammed)
2. WE ARE STILL UNABLE TO TAKE CASH AT PRESENT SO PLEASE BRING A DEBIT CARD.

MEMBERSHIP
We are taking applications for membership, please call the club for more details on how to join.

WEDDINGS AND FUNCTIONS
We are now taking bookings again for weddings and functions although our offering is reduced because of the current circumstances.  If you are interested in booking the Club then please call us or email info@cgoclub.co.uk for more information on what is currently available.
